Review on: Merle Norman - LUXIVA® Purely Mineral Makeup
merle norman -luxiva - purely mineral makeup.. i like it ,  if you have dry skin i wouldnt recomend it .. the coverage is great  ...

.."A Loose powder foundation made exclusively of pure minerals. It provides flawless, buildable coverage with a luminous finish. Non-caking. Non-clogging. Oil-free. Fragrance-free . "

i would say if you use to much it is does look cakey

i love the packaging its lasted me a year almost next time ill be sure to get my EXACT color!

Pros: it doesnt contain bismuth oxychloride like bare minerals wich makes some people itchy.. its a HUGE amount compared to bare minerals. itll last you a long time.
Cons: not good on dry skin.
Review on: Merle Norman - Mineral Blush in Rosy Outlook
This mineral blush is gorgeous. It's a little shimmery but not glittery. I always stayed away from pink because of the gold in my skintone but the people at Merle Norman know their stuff. This is a warm coppery rose color that just livens me up wonderfully. This blush is highly pigmented so a little goes a long way. I'm half way through the container at it's been about 6 months. Make sure you have a mineral blush brush to apply it or it will apply too heavy.

Pros: Gorgeous color, lasts all day
Cons:
Review on: Merle Norman - Mineral Foundation in L60
It was by accident that I discovered Merle Norman had mineral makeup foundation and what a discovery! It contains no bismuth oxychloride! I am fair with golden undertones and this color worked much better for me than the lighter shade (more for pink undertones). I'm not sure how many shades there are. The coverage is light-medium and has a luminous finish. There is no finishing powder so if  you have oily skin and want a matte finish you'd most likely want a finishing powder or blotter papers on hand. For the price you get a lot. .5oz. I've been using mine for about 6 months and I'm not even half way through the container.

Pros: You get a lot for your money
Cons: Can leave you shiney
Review on: Merle Norman - Lip Pencil Plus in Desert Rose
This product is the solution to my lipstick woes. I really don't like lipstick. I don't care for the taste or smell of it and they tend to get melty and messy in the summer heat. This lip pencil solves 2 problems: needing to have an additional lip liner on hand, having to deal with nasty lipstick. It has a lip liner on one end, and the lip color on the other. It's a fat enough pencil that it's easy to locate in your purse! The lip liner is soft and glides on easily for quick lining. The lip color is moist and does not dry out my lips at all. And it lasts for hours. I only need to touch it up a few times a day - like after I eat. The color doesn't run, bleed, or crack. Desert Rose is a warm copperized rose color.

Review on: Merle Norman - Concealing brush
This is an excellent brush for applying concealer around the eye area. It's natural bristles are firmly packed yet form a nicley shaped, soft tip which makes application a breeze. I have used it over and over again for the last 5 years and it still works great and looks new. I would love it even more it it was smaller so I could use it for my scars and blemishes but it's great for my dark circles.

Pros: Provides easy application of under eye concealer and is a quality brush.
Cons: Not good for small areas like scars or blemishes because it is kinda wide.
Review on: Merle Norman - Luxiva Lasting Foundation
I purchased Merle Norman's luxiva lasting foundation. The first day I put it on with a brush thin as instructed. After about 15 minutes it felt like a mask. It set on my face. When I laughed or smiled, it felt as though it was cracking. The coverage was just to much. It has a matte finish. It is also sticky when you touch your face. I plan to try and exchange it today for a liquid foundation that is sheer to medium coverage.

Cons:
Review on: Merle Norman - Aqua Base
I love the aqua base from Merle Norman.  I have used this for about 7 years. Does anyone use Merle Norman?? I don't really see much on this makeup in the forums.  Many young people also use this makeup.  This foundation lasts on your face and in the tube. A lot goes a long way. It is oil free. Great for sensitive skin.

Pros: Long lasting, good coverage, nice color, easy to apply
Cons:
Review on: Merle Norman - Luxiva Lasting Powder Foundation
This product is great. For oily skin the powder stays in place all day. This provides full to medium coverage. I rarely have to blot. The coverage is flawless.I also have acne prone skin. This does not make me break out. Aqua Base foundation, this powder, and Almay Beyond Powder blush. I am set!

Pros:
Cons:
Review on: Merle Norman - Rose dust
I have used this product since they decided to discontinue my other color in Wild Heather. goes on great and wears well.

Pros: Nice color & wears well
Cons: have to be careful becasue it tends to get dark if you aren't carefull during application
Review on: Merle Norman - Luxiva Ultra Thick mascara
This is really a great mascara. Even though it's called "Ultra Thick," it does a great job of lengthening as well. I can put a couple of coats on and be done! I always forget about this one and tend to be swayed toward L'Oreal Voluminous, but really, I think I need to give Ultra Thick more chances because it really is *that* good. It gives me such pretty lashes and has nice staying power, too.

Pros: Great mascara, does a nice job of lengthening and thickening
Cons: Starting to get a bit pricey for a mascara but worth it IMO
Review on: Merle Norman - Luxiva eyeshadow in Lava
If you're looking for a taupe shadow along the lines of Chanel Vega or Shu ME 945,You've gotta try this. Its slightly darker then the afore mentioned shades(just a shade)and it has thes gorgesous silver, lavender and mauve undertones..It's such a complex shadow..Not having tried Merle Norman before I was very impressed with this..The shadow is so smooth it almost feels like a cream but it's powder. Also much cheaper then it's counterparts
